It's International Social Media Day on Sunday June 30, a day focused on the impact social media has on people's lives. It comes at a time when North American governments are considering limiting access to social media platforms through proposed legislation. We called up some Montrealers who reflected on what having access to social networks means to them and what changing access to it could mean for their futures.

One Montrealer is trying to make getting around the city a little easier. It's all through community organizing and an online app called AccessNow. It gathers comments and photos from people around Canada about how accessible their city's public spaces are. We spoke with Allie Pauld. She is a disability educator, content creator, and Montreal Community Captain with the AccessNow App.
