Disability Art In Motion Round Table

Join artist Emery Vanderburgh and panelists in a roundtable discussion on disability art and accessibility at McClure Gallery.

Participants include:

Amanda Brown, a researcher in human genetics and artist whose work explores mad activism and accessible science communication through the lens of epigenetics and depression.


Selene Reya Leon: an artist whose practice explores invisible disability and performance, reflecting on personal experience.


Allie Pauld: a disability scholar, writer, and advocate focused on creative writing as intervention and engaging approaches to disability theory.

The event will be facilitated by Jessie Stainton (Concordia University AIM Lab), who will open the session with a presentation on accessibility politics based on her Ph.D. research.
