In Pain and Insane is excited to host “Disabled Dreamers” , a two-part event for Wild Pride 2026! The first part is a panel discussion arts and accessibility followed by a variety show which will spotlight and showcase Disabled/Sick/Mad/Neurodivergent/d.Deaf talent in collaboration with Montreal/Tiohtia:ke based activist, educator, and artist; Allie Pauld.
✨To dream or not to dream… that is the question. (spoiler: the answer is to dream!) Our disabled/sick/ill/mad/d.Deaf bodies and minds oftentimes don’t get the privilege of desire and dreaming, we are usually told to accept the conditions by people who don’t live our realities but…what kinds of dreams and joys will emerge when radical accessibility is at the centre of an event? We hope to find out together✨
🩷This event will be fully wheelchair accessible, mask mandatory, ASL/LSQ interpretation, with a quiet space, outdoor space, and free food and drinks.
When: August 9th, 2026. 3PM-7PM
Where: Teesri Duniya. Cité-des-Hospitalières 251 Avenue des Pins Ouest, #148, Montreal, QC H2W1R5
